WASHINGTON, D.C. -- News Media interested in covering the upcoming the Department of Homeland Security National Level Exercise known as TOPOFF 4, scheduled for October 15-19, 2007, may still obtain the required media credentials.

Information on the credentialing process can be found at: www.dhs.gov/topoff4. Media credential applications can be found online, along with directions on how to complete the form. Applications for credentials must be submitted electronically to credentials@topofficials.org or faxed to 202-729-4005. Submissions will still be accepted beyond the October 8 deadline through the close of business Friday, October 12, 2007. After Friday, credentials will only be available on-site on a first come, first serve basis.

Media organizations covering TOPOFF 4 press availabilities must register to cover events at each of the venue locations in Guam, Portland, Oregon; Phoenix, Arizona, along with press events in Washington, D.C. Media will not be allowed to cover TOPOFF 4 without the necessary credentials.
